New Purity Ring “Obedear”

Purity Ring have been an awful, awful group to be a fan of. Releasing just a small handful of songs, the group has been silent for a long, long time, prompting repeated loops of “Belispeak” and “Lofticries” at the FPM offices.

The light at the end of the tunnel, though, comes July 24, and to prep their long-suffering fans for their new album Shrines, Purity Ring have just released “Obedear” for download, which you can snag here. You can also check it out immediately below. Based on initial listens, it doesn’t sound like the duo has messed with their formula too much, which isn’t a bad thing at all.
