One of the nice things about having taken a bit of a break over the last month or two is getting to catch up on all the stuff that was missed during that period. One of those things, which sparked intense debate with fellow FPM writer Bud Squims, was Annie Clark’s surprisingly visceral performance of Big Black’s “Kerosene.” It’s hard to imagine a large portion of the audience counted themselves fans of the legendarily abrasive act previous to this performance, but hopefully a few more people go out and buy Songs about Fucking.
